Holy One, we know we are a country independent of other countries’ rule. We thank you for this freedom and for our freedom and right to vote for our governance. Calm any fear or anxiety in these days. We pray for safety, respect, and kindness as we cast our votes. No matter the outcome, let us elect to be kinder than yesterday, more aware of the needs of others, more willing to stand together for the least of these.

May we listen to your voice above all voices, seeing we have more in common than what separates us. Move us toward healing of any divisiveness. May we live Your Love. Amen!
