Sheltering One, as we approach Election Day and the days to follow, we pray that you would continue to watch over the children, youth, educators and staff in all the schools across our nation. Keep us always mindful that our young people look to us, and learn from us, even when they don’t seem to be paying that much attention. Remind us they hear our words and see our actions, as well as our silence and inaction. Help us always model civility, kindness, compassion, and courage as we strive together for a more just world for all. Amen.
