One Great Hour of Sharing
One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) is a Special Mission Offering of the United Church of Christ that supports partners worldwide with ministries that fund health, education and agricultural development, emergency relief, refugee ministries, and both international and domestic disaster response.
2026 Suggested Offering Date: March 15th
If your church is already set up to receive offerings online and offers a way for givers to designate gifts to OGHS, please continue to do what works for your church.
Mail checks to United Church of Christ, P.O. Box 71957, Cleveland, Ohio 44194 or give online via a secure donation form.
If your church does not typically receive Special Mission Offerings online, but would like to provide a way for congregants to do so, you can direct them to UCC OGHS.
Make a secure online gift today to support the One Great Hour of Sharing offering. The suggested offering date is March 15, 2026 or whenever is appropriate for your congregation.
Gifts may be given to the offering at any time. OGHS Resources are available to help promote the offering and may be ordered from UCC Resources.

One Great Hour of Sharing is one of four special mission offerings of the United Church of Christ. This Lenten Offering supports disaster, refugee, and development ministries. The Global H.O.P.E. Team oversees the offering proceeds in collaboration with partners.
