Oh Great God, Creator of Heaven and Earth,

Make us a beacon of your light and love!
Give us the strength to feel hope, instead of fear –
To feel joy, instead of despair.

Give us wisdom to discern the truth from misinformation, rumors, chaos and lies.
For we believe as Jesus taught us that we shall know the truth and the truth shall set us free!

Help us, Oh Lord, love our neighbors so much and so truly that we conquer the forces that seek to divide us from one another. And help us be brave as we stand up to injustice.
