Thanks and Wishes for a Peaceful Holiday
Until a spirit from on high is poured out on us, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is deemed a forest. Then justice will dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness abides in the fruitful field. The effect of righteousness will be peace and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever. My people will abide in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places. (Isaiah 32: 15-18)
The Advent Season brings forth a sense of hope and grace as we give thanks for God’s abundant and unconditional love with the coming of the Christ child. We also give thanks to each and every one of you as we approach the end of another year of ministry among you.
Thank you for your advocacy, prayers and dedication to making a better world possible. As people of faith, we are called to be a bold public voice, setting our sights toward a world in which the common good is upheld, and the marginalized are not forgotten. We are incredibly grateful for your partnership and your relentless commitment to be that voice.
Wishing you a hope-filled Advent, a peaceful Christmas and a safe new year! We look forward to continuing our efforts in partnership with you in 2014 – take courage in knowing that justice will dwell in the wilderness and righteousness abides in the fruitful field. With God nothing is impossible.
