Living Psalm 199:9-16 – Lent 5B
Living Psalms Book
Psalms in the form of words and art, reborn in the specific contexts of our world, privileging the voices of historically marginalized communities and those acting in solidarity with them.
Living Psalm 119: 9-16—Lent 5 B
How can the young walk upright with pure intentions?
By living to the commands of your word.
I constantly long for you in my heart,
Don’t let me walk away from what is good.
I meditate on your words- I ingest them, so I don’t hurt others or myself.
Praise you, Just one.
School me in your Law.
With my mouth I utter the holy ways that you have instructed.
Joy comes over me when I think of living in justice and peace,
much more joy than treasure brings to the rich.
I consider your words, I do not let go of your precepts.
I recall your rules for life,
I will not let go of the good path.
