Global H.O.P.E. Hurricane Harvey recovery grant helping restore 14 Victoria, Texas, homes
Repair of 14 homes damaged by Hurricane Harvey in 2017 is proceeding with the support of a $7,000 UCC Global H.O.P.E. grant to the Victoria (Texas) County Long-Term Recovery Group.
Funds contributed to the Hurricane Harvey Appeal are helping meet needs for temporary housing and storage, exterior and interior work, utilities, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, debris removal, household goods/appliances, and foundation repairs.
The UCC grant funds ($500 per survivor case/total $7,000) are being used to serve 14 Hurricane Harvey survivors at the biweekly Unmet Needs Committee meeting when survivor cases are presented by Disaster Case Managers.
