A Prayer of Love: December 24
Let us pray:
Holy one,
As we wait in anticipation of the Christ Child, we pray for our world–
that the power structures that bind people to wealth at the expense of the many shift towards radical equity.
We pray for the places that are in a state of extraction at the expense of their indigenous communities.
We pray for the global migration of people, that they are made welcome where they land.
We pray for those places of war, in countries far away, or homes next door, that safety and love are close at hand.
Let the Silent Night fill with hope for the world we can build together. Amen
