Living Psalm 72:1-7 – Advent 2C
Living Psalms Book
Psalms in the form of words and art, reborn in the specific contexts of our world, privileging the voices of historically marginalized communities and those acting in solidarity with them.
God, lay your wisdom over all of us,
right relationship like Solomon’s royal robe.
Since we no longer hold faith in kings or other power people,
let us all become seekers of justice:
not just for our children or children’s children,
but for their children, and theirs…
Only then will creation sing songs of peace;
only then will sun and moon rejoice,
shining on a healing planet.
When our thriving supports others’ thriving
then will be your kin-dom come.
