Katharine (Kate) West (Class of 2031, At Large) is the senior pastor of First Congregational UCC in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. A graduate of Transylvania University and Lexington Theological Seminary, Kate is passionate about “being the Church” in many ways and places. From disaster recovery to social justice advocacy, Kate seeks to find ways to reach people where they are to share God’s radical hospitality and love. Kate has been previously involved at various levels of supporting the UCC with association and conference level work and served on various church camp boards. A lifetime member of the Girl Scouts, she is also involved in school mentoring and also with her alma mater. Kate enjoys spending time with her beloved mutt and co-pastor, Ty, and attempts gardening and cooking.
