2024 Election Day Prayers and Prayer Vigil Service
The national ministries of the UCC planned a time of prayer for at least 24 hours leading into Election Day, Nov. 5. This culminated in a prayer vigil service on Election Day. As anxiety is particularly high during this election season and there are a diversity of concerns for the process and outcome, the prayers and vigil are being organized for spiritual support and to invoke the presence of the Holy, for love, justice, and peace.
In order to fully blanket the time, your prayer is needed. By contributing your prayer for Election Day, prayers will be offered from across the United States and will enable a steady invitation to pause and pray throughout the day. Submitted prayers will also be shared during the vigil.
