O God of all Nations, we pray for our country’s State Department Foreign Service Officers, deployed as diplomats around the world, who seek all manner of connections of peace –publicly and discreetly — as a means to prevent war, and who are sometimes at great risk and at all times sacrifice an easier life for them and their families. May their bravery be honored and lifted up on this day, for they, too, have sworn an oath to uphold the United States Constitution, through all administrations.
