A Prayer of Joy: December 13
Let us pray:
Gracious God,
For the ways you hem us in; we are grateful
For families, tribes, and kindred of blood, choice, and covenant; we give thanks
Thank you for surrounding us with people who know us in differently-nuanced ways than we know ourselves
Hold us as we grieve the loss of loved ones to the vicissitudes of life and death
Bathe us in the sustenance of joy as we journey together and apart. Amen
