A Prayer of Joy: December 16

Let us pray:

Oasis in desert places, 
We are weary of the divisions in this land 
From sea to polluted sea, the land is divided over politics, bigotry, economics, and so much more 
Our land is desert and in need of life-giving water 
We who are called by your name humbly ask that you would bring healing to this land 
Renew our joy, and strengthen our resolve to work for a peace which looks like wholeness and well-being. Amen
