General Synod App

Terms and Conditions of Service and Privacy Policy

The General Synod App (“App”) is provided for registered attendees of the General Synod, including delegates, guests, staff, and exhibitors (“attendees”).

The App provides attendees with information about the Indianapolis Convention Center, General Synod agenda, schedule of General Synod-related activities and meetings, and documents related to the business of the General Synod. The agenda and scheduling information provided in the App may not be a complete listing of all General Synod-related or General Synod-adjacent activities and is subject to change without notice. The documents related to the business of the General Synod may change by action of the General Synod body. The App is not the official record of the business of the General Synod.

Attendees may use the information provided in the App in connection with their attendance at the General Synod for noncommercial religious purposes. Copyrighted materials may not be used, reproduced, or distributed without the permission of the copyright owners. Trademarks, service marks, and logos on the App are the property of their respective owners and are used on the App with permission. They may not be further used, reproduced, or distributed without the permission of the trademark owners. If you have a question about copyrighted materials, trademarks, service marks, or logos used on the App, please contact the United Church of Christ Office of General Counsel at generalcounsel@ucc.org.

Information about attendees on the App is linked from the General Synod Registration website. Attendees have a limited ability to modify their information on the App. If an attendee needs to make changes to their registration information, they should contact the General Synod Registrar at GeneralSynodRegistrar@ucc.org.

Attendee data is linked from the General Synod Registration website and is subject to the terms and conditions of that website, including the Cvent Privacy Policy. Data collected by the National Setting of the United Church of Christ in connection with General Synod Registration is also subject to the ucc.org Privacy Policy.

Interactive features of the App have been disabled and attendees are not able to communicate with one another through the App.

Attendees can limit the visibility of their information, including name and location, to other attendees through the App. The National Setting and General Synod of the United Church of Christ are not responsible for any misuse of visible attendee data by other attendees.
