Living Psalm 100—Reign of Christ A (Davies)
Living Psalms Book
Psalms in the form of words and art, reborn in the specific contexts of our world, privileging the voices of historically marginalized communities and those acting in solidarity with them.
Living Psalm 100 for Reign of Christ Sunday A
Let all that is within me make joyful noise for the goodness of God!
Let me lift up the lyrics of liberation,
and sing the songs of release!
For I know that God is God (and I am not.)
I know that all I am and all who I have been is of God’s own wonder,
and I give thanks.
Let all who are Created in the image of Goodness gather together
and shout praise!
Let us call the name of the Source of All Blessing
And pour the Love of God
into the generations that will follow us through our work.
The Love of the Divine is Forever.
(Even still.)
Living Psalm 100 for Reign of Christ Sunday A, was written by the Rev. Dr. Chris Davies.
Living Psalms Book is created by UCC Witness & Worship Artists’ Group, a Network of UCC connected artists, activists and ministers bridging the worship and liturgy of the local church with witness and action in the community.
