O Great Mender,
We lament the spaces in your world where we have created violence and oppression. We have formed cycles of chaos that have brought harm to so many and they seem to repeat generation after generation. Forgive us. But, more importantly, draw us towards love, compassion, repair, and healing. Mend the places in our world where relationships have been broken, where less than the truth has reached our lips, where we have hungered for power rather than peace. By your Spirit, teach us to stitch together a tapestry of justice and love. And may your tender arms of care make us whole. Amen.
