UCC Annual Report video brings to life impactful ministries

Leaders of the United Church of Christ are thrilled to share the newly released 2024 Annual Report video, which brings to life some of the impactful ministries carried out by the National Setting over the past year.

“This has been quite the year for the world, the nation and for the United Church of Christ,” said Kent Siladi, interim director of Philanthropy. “We have engaged in a wide variety of ministries which have made an impact for love, justice, and compassion. This annual report video will give viewers a slice of those ministries which we hope will inspire and lift you up in this joyous and difficult time.”

The video message, delivered by General Minister and President the Rev. Karen Georgia Thompson, shares stories of how the UCC is making a difference nationally and globally by putting faith into action.

Share to ‘illuminate ministries’

Siladi encourages local churches to share this video with their congregations. It is available on YouTube and also on Vimeo to make it easy for congregations and leaders to download and share.

“Showing it in worship, at an Annual Meeting, forwarding the video to members in email, and posting it on the church website are a few ideas to illuminate the ministries of the National Setting,” Siladi said.

Congregations can also share it at a new members’ gathering and in any ways that best serve a church’s needs.
