A registration link will be posted soon
The global HIV response has embraced the UNAIDS goals for ending the HIV epidemic by 2030, which includes getting to 90-90-90 by 2020. That is
- 90% of those living with HIV know their HIV status
- 90% of those who know they are HIV positive are receiving effective anti-retroviral treatment (ARV)
- 90% of those who are receiving ARV treatment have viral suppression to undetectable levels.
The conversation will focus the ways are faith communities are and can contribute to reaching the 2020 goals for ending the epidemic and practical ways our churches can engage their capacity to respond? We will share and discuss highlights of the 2018 International AIDS Conference (July, Amsterdam) and the US Conference on AIDS (September, Orlando), including the state of the epidemic, the gaps in response, and exploring opportunities for engaging with World AIDS Day 2018, December 1.
