Living Psalm 118:1-2, 14-24 – Easter A
Living Psalms Book
Psalms in the form of words and art, reborn in the specific contexts of our world, privileging the voices of historically marginalized communities and those acting in solidarity with them.
Let us embrace the Resurrected One. Jesus is awesome, his love is genuine and wraps around us throughout eternity. Friends, that is a long time. The abundance of love that flows from The Holy One love is never ending and meets us wherever we are in the journey of life. We are flawed but all the Son of Man sees is the sincerity of our souls. His smile lasts beyond our wildest dreams.
When we need strength, we find it. The Messiah is our might, strength, and our salvation. Songs of joy play and unity is embraced when righteousness flows within the community. The right hand of the Savior does it valiantly; the Messiah’s hand is celebrated with praise.
We shall not lose our lives, rather we shall live in joy and abundance.
Our life shall communicate what the Holy One has done. We pay the price of human frailty, but at no time does Jesus give up on us. We have not been left in the wilderness of life to die. We are ready to walk through the gates of welcome. Open them up and allow us to come in with thanksgiving in our hearts for all that you have done for us. We, joyful and struggling humans, shall be able to enter your gates. It is grace that leads us home. For meeting us in the reality of the ups and downs and twists and turns of life.
Embracing all of us, allows each one of us to fully welcome you as our Savior. Wow. What others negated and rejected has become the most important piece. You are the cornerstone of our lives. This is your doing by showing us unconditional love. You are marvelous.
Awesome is our God. Let us shout, “this is the day that the Holy One has made.” Let us in joy celebrate this the day of the Sovereign. We rejoice and our hearts are smiling this day.
