Living Psalm 119: 1- 8 – Epiphany 6
Living Psalm 119: 1-8
Sixth Sunday of Epiphany — February 16, 2020
On the hard days, what I pray:
Follow the Way, do my best. Let go of the inner critic.
Happiness is living into my future integrity.
(How do I want to remember having been right now?)
Live into the divine wonder of being,
and open my heart to humility, for God.
(wouldn’t it be nice if it were right and wrong and a clear answer?)
But you, God, have made this world beyond a binary,
and offered choice to your people.
I pray I can be ever more faithful to you.
Walk the way.
Even when it sucks.
Then, after all this nonsense blows over,
I will know that I have been beside you in my call and in my actions.
I will give thanks, on That Day.
I will do my best. Even here. Even now.
(don’t leave me, God.)
