Living Psalm 123
Living Psalms Book
Psalms in the form of words and art, reborn in the specific contexts of our world, privileging the voices of historically marginalized communities and those acting in solidarity with them.

Upon you we set our gaze,
O you who are embodied in this world!
As we surrender to the liquid longing of a pup,
as we wonder at the tiny perfection of a forget-me-not,
as we brace ourselves amidst the power of thunder and wind,
so we lay ourselves open before the Divine,
who reminds us of the goodness all around.
You remind us, O Divine,
even as contempt seethes,
even as hatred violates,
even as fear controls.
You remind us, when our souls have had their fill,
that there is still more compassion to be shared.
