Living Psalm 133
Living Psalms Book
Psalm 133_Davies, for June 23 (for UCC anniversary)
How very good and pleasant it is
when kindred live together in “that they may all be one!”
It is like the songs sung together at General Synod,
the conference annual meetings gathering regions in hope,
the associations praying over their work of care and accountability,
It is our church at worship, anointing us to action and call.
It is like the charge of Purpose,
Which covenants in so many ways,
In so many words,
By people who surprise and delight us (…even still.)
For here God ordained their blessing,
life for evermore, life for everyone.
(No Matter Who You Are Or Where You Are On Life’s Journey)
