Living Psalm 19
Living Psalms Book
Psalms in the form of words and art, reborn in the specific contexts of our world, privileging the voices of historically marginalized communities and those acting in solidarity with them.
A stellar announcement!
Look at the Cosmic parade of planets through the constellations.
God’s Glory is all around.
And Yet the brilliance of the heavenly decree does not use human speech, and still the whole world hears.
We hear God is amazing. The decree of quasars, supernovas, comets, and the beautiful moon.
It’s like a show every day, with the Sun shining in the east and in the west, and rising and setting.
It’s perfect.
Perfect like the Love of God.
Fierce like the Justice of God.
Great like the commandments of God.
Guiding me, like a North Star, these stories of God.
I can’t stop thinking about them.
They are sweet to my soul.
They sustain my soul.
They keep me going.
But who can understand their soul?
Help me and keep me from my own folly.
Protect me from my willful sins.
Help me to be Love Out Loud. Help me to Be Just in my actions.
You know my soul. I love you and I want to be love.
You are saving the whole world.
You are Liberating everything.
