Living Psalm 62:5-12 Epiphany 3B
Living Psalms Book
Psalms in the form of words and art, reborn in the specific contexts of our world, privileging the voices of historically marginalized communities and those acting in solidarity with them.
Ah, soul. Time to ease in to God’s good hands. Rest a while. We are safe.
We find comfort in God’s strength. We don’t have to keep one eye open. We are safe. God provides a place of safety and rest. Go ahead, bare your heart. Go ahead, share your tears. For God is a protector for those in need.
We are merely a glimmer. Just a wink.
Life is quick. The poor and the rich, both have one life. Don’t be fooled by the stock market, or by the lure of passing fads and get-rich schemes. The hype of money and celebrity culture doesn’t add minutes to your life.
God’s love is unfailing,
God is forever.
God is fair and just.
We trust in the love and justice of God.
