God is beyond comprehension, powerful past comparison,
Clothed in power and strength.
Creation itself is of God, divine, holy, present even still,
(Oh, Holy one, you are everything,
God-of-old, God-of-my-ancestors)
Even in the midst of disaster, you are there,
The howling wind, the rushing water,
The human-caused climate catastrophes,
You are holy.
You are here.
You are mighty.
You are more powerful than the world itself,
Reigning over our best intentions,
(pushing us in action to right relationship.)
Your realm holds steadiness and love,
Your home is cozy and Just…
And may it be so, forever.
