Living Psalm 98-Easter 6B
Living Psalms Book
Psalms in the form of words and art, reborn in the specific contexts of our world, privileging the voices of historically marginalized communities and those acting in solidarity with them.
Living Psalm 98–for Easter 6B
Come on
and create something new,
for God does wonderful things.
God’s strength provides victory.
The Victory of God is renowned.
To the nations, God’s justice is known.
God recalls the covenant love promised to Israel and to all inhabitants of the Earth.
Get Happy, Get loud–Go ahead and leap and sing and Dance.
Scream praises and bang drums and rock out.
Start a beat, and clap your hands–clap them loud for God.
The Oceans Roar with praise and every creature under and above her waves shout with joy.
Rivers and Mountains Shake and Laugh with Joy
God, the God of warring angels is coming to set this right. God will see through every guise, the God of Justice and Equity is coming!
